„The Saviour’s life on earth was a life of communion with nature and with God.
In this communion He revealed for us the secret of a life of power.”
Do you feel that your spiritual life is weakened? Perhaps you have committed sins in your life and feel separated from Jesus? The good news is that there is always a way back, the call to grace is still active today. If you are curious about this grace that is available to you, this is the place for you! Come and learn with us!
The Sziágyi Erdei Iskola is located far from the noisy world in the South Transdanubian part of the country. It is an excellent place to gather, enjoy each other’s company and learn God’s word in a relaxed environment.
Prices depend on the type of accommodation. Prices are for the whole weekend. Unfortunately, it is not possible to divide the price by days.
Registration price:
– Tent: 42 €/person/3 nights
– House: 62 €/person/3 nights
Anyone over 18 years old must pay a tourist tax of 2 €/person/night in cash on site.
The weekend is free for children under 6 years old.
Important! Everybody needs to bring everything they need during the weekend, including meals. On Monday we will close the program with a meal cooked together, for everyone. However, vegetables and fruit will be provided as a supplement to the meals. Likewise, a tent and all necessary equipment for sleeping (sleeping bag, mattress, etc…) needs to be brought by attendees.
On Sunday, we are planning a canoe trip, which will be the equivalent of a full day programme.
In canoes for 3 people, we will paddle along a stretch of the Drava, while our guide will show us the world of the river. Several times during the program we will stop to rest on islands formed by small and large sand dunes.
This costs 33 €/person, which can be paid at the location.
Canoe trips for children cost the same as for adults.
The price includes canoes, paddles, life jacket and a small waterproof barrel.
Attention! Registration for this program is only possible until August 14th. After this date you can no longer register.
Is there a little one in your family? Don’t worry, our tour guide has led teams before with a 9-month-old baby in the canoe. It won’t be a white-water rafting trip, so feel free to come even if you’re a bit afraid of the water!
For over 10 years now, organised by the Youth Committee, we’ve been getting out into nature to spend a weekend together. In the first few years, around 40-50 people participated, but in the last few years more and more people from abroad have joined us. Together with them we have had more than 80 people present. The aim of the weekend is to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, to recharge your batteries, to get away from civilisation and to be surrounded by nature.
